Never pay a deposit before seeing the forage

Go and see the batch before you pay. Open a bale, smell it, look for dust and signs of mould.
Pay on the spot, with the hay in front of you. Never a bank transfer, payment link, gift card or money order up front.
"Pay quickly, other people are interested" is what scammers say. Take your time, or walk away.

No payment goes through SOS oPaddock. We put people in touch, that's all. If a listing looks wrong, report it and a moderator will take a look.
